Samoa Warm & Glossy Nude Lip

My Dearest Beauties,

So, I got some goodies sent to me from Samoa and this little lipgloss (and the other lip product) has not left my bag since. I LOVE it! It feels a lot like a high end lip gloss and also acts like one. I mean that you get great color pay off and longevity. I really enjoy this nude tone that could be worn on its own or layered on top of lipsticks. It is beautifully shiny without being gritty and glittery, which a lot of drugstore/high street lip glosses can be. So this is a beautiful product for those of you on a budget or even if you are just looking for a great value for money product. Again, this lip gloss definitely feels of high end quality.

In the picture I opted to wear it full on, so I layered three good coats of it to get that effect. This nude shade is very fit for the colder months since it is warmer than the usual pale and matte nude lip. I cannot wait to see all the color selection and pick up some more shades.

It is from the Catwalk by Samoa Cosmetics range in number 356 Bois de Rose.

I also have Samoa eyeshadows on. So if you are interested in knowing what I did, tell me in the comments and I will sure share it with all of you.

Much love,

Samar

Mani of the Week: Samoa Diva

My Dearest Beauties,

An oxblood with a golden shimmer that shows under natural light! This kind of color is just perfect for the cooler season. It is a classic! I would personally wear it year round whenever I can't make up my mind. Diva, other than being a beautiful color, also is a very long lasting color. My nail polish never goes longer than four days, well, diva actually lasted for six whole days. I do not know what it is about this particular shade that prevents easy chipping but I am loving it! This little and accessible find will definitely become a staple.

One other thing before I let you be the judge, I wanted to remind you that these nail polishes are inexpensive but have the quality of a high end one. They are highly pigmented and really easy to paint on the nails.

What are your thoughts? Tell me in the comments?

Much love,

Samar

Sweet Almond Nails

My Dearest Beauties,

I wanted to have almond/claw nails again so I thought a soft color would make the transition easier.

My nail artist applied two coats of  #110 Chine Rose by Samoa Cosmetics to all my finger nails and then made it super cute by adding accent nails #180 Disco Ball by Sally Hansen to my ring and index fingers. This Sally Hansen color is super cute to add a pop of different to your usual manicure without it being extremely bright.

My nail artist is a very professional lady that does an excellent job every single time. I have been her client for years now and she never fails to satisfy. She works by appointment at your own home. She goes around the areas of Ain Rimmaneh, Baabda, Chiah, Hadath, Choueifat, Bchamoun and Aramoun. If any of you are interested in getting the nail saloon home then contact me so I can give you her number.

What do you think of this sweet color and the almond shaped nails? Leave it in the comments!

Much love,

Samar xx

Eyebrow Tutorial using an Eyebrow Pencil

My Dearest Beauties,

Eyebrows like I said before frame our face and grooming them can make a whole lot of difference. Recently, I have loved filling in my eyebrows with a pencil because it is very quick and easy. I will walk you through the steps I take and I hope you can get an idea of how to fill in your brows. I believe we all have our own special way of giving shape to our brows so if you are interested try my way in your own way, if that makes any sense!

This is me with neatly combed eyebrows but with no eyebrow makeup at all.

Start by tracing a map of where you want your eyebrow to start. It should usually start at the bridge of your nose and you can use your pencil to draw an imaginary line. After you have an idea of where you want your brow to start draw a line with the pencil. Do the exact same thing for where you want your arch and where you want your brow to end. Draw little dots or lines to guide yourself.

Once you have drawn your map, you are ready to start filling in your eyebrows. Start with very gentle strokes on the bald spots. Think of drawing tiny eyebrow hairs. Do not, by any means, color in your brows with long and heavy lines. They will end up looking too drawn on and unnatural. After filling in your brows go ahead and use the little brush that comes with the pencil. My favorite eyebrow pencil is Lancome Le Crayon Sourcil in shade 020 Chatain. The pencil is super soft and it sets after application, that means that it doesn't transfer if I accidentally rub my brows. The tiny brush that comes with it is very useful as well.

Can you spot the difference between the groomed eyebrow and the untouched one? The one with eyebrow pencil looks more defined and with less bald spots.

Once, I am done filling in my eyebrows, I use some Samoa Cosmetics clear mascara. I have very long eyebrow hairs and if I don't use something to hold them in place they tend to get a little messy. This clear mascara is inexpensive and does the trick beautifully. Trust me you do not need to splurge on an expensive clear mascara, they all work the same.

You are all done!

Tell me what you think of this eyebrow routine in the comments below. What is your favorite eyebrow pencil?

Love,

Samar x

Quick Outfit of the Night: Faux Leather and a Pop of Color

My Dearest Beauties,

Let me just start by saying that I love this outfit. It isn't only super comfortable to sport on a night out in town but it its also very chic and attractive. It is very simple yet the combination of the faux leather peplum top with the colorful bottoms is just explosive (in my opinion). As for jewelry, I kept it really simple because I wanted most of the attention drawn to the pieces of clothing. I wore my hair curly just for a change but I will be honest with you all I prefer my simple straight hair. The outfit was all from Zara by coincidence.

I am wearing:
Peplum Faux Leather Top from Zara
Cropped Pants from Zara
Kitten Heels form Zara
Black Clutch from Furla
Nail Polish by Samoa (Red Manicure)

Tell me what you think of this style in the comments below. Also, tell me what you think of my different hair.

Wish you all a lovely sunday,

Samar xoxo
