Emilio Pucci's Winter 2014

My Dearest Beauties,

Fashion week makes me feel like I have crazy and super flexible ever changing taste. Sometimes I'm gravitated towards extreme simplicity (most times) and other times, I fall in love with these elaborate looks like the ones from Pucci's runway. I picked some of my favorites even though I could have put a lot more among these that I will be sharing with you today, then again the meaning of favorite would become redundant. I compiled all of these pictures from style.com, so if you're interested to see the rest of the looks head over there and continue to fall in love!

The prints, the coats, the boots, the embroidery, what is not to love? I would love to have so many pieces of the collection in my wardrobe. The hair also looked amazing, that laid back and young look which makes you look like you didn't put in any effort. You can also notice the immaculate makeup; fresh but flawless skin with just enough contouring to give dimension and sophistication.

What do you think of this collection? Do you agree? Is there any look that would like to rock?

Much love,

Samar

Quick Outfit of the Day: Dress and Trench

My Dearest Beauties,

Royal blue is one of my favorite colors, it is fun but it is also on the more neutral side, I find. The trench is a staple piece that wraps the look together and keeps you warm and cozy.

Wearing:
TSC Hat
Burberry Trench Coat
TKMaxx Dress
Mango Bag
Deena & Ozzy at Urban Outfitters Boot
Topshop Belt
Calvin Klein Tights (The Best after Wolford's)
Rayban Sunnies
Damas Necklace

I have a bit of a love affair with the hat and the flared cut of the dress. What do you all think?

Young Wilderness: A Fun Online Shopping Experience

My Dearest Beauties,

I recently stumbled upon this amazing new lebanese online shop where you can find some pretty cool and fun pieces. They have very unique items to pick from, if you are all about being unique then Young Wilderness is the place for you. Do your shopping from the comfort of, well, anywhere and pay at your doorstep.

Hiba and Yasmine welcomed me into their office to get a glimpse into the YW community. Their professional background is faraway from fashion but their unconventional style is what inspired taking a step into the fashion industry. They are not designers but get inspiration for the prints from things they like and all sorts of pictures that catch their attention.

YW doesn't only offer unique prints and pieces but you can also find an amazing selection of vintage pieces that were hunted down from the tiniest places around Lebanon and abroad. Many of the pieces have never even been worn and other than having fashionable value they are also very special to Hiba and Yasmine.

Hiba and Yasmine plan to keep free delivery and pay at the door as long as it is feasible in Lebanon. They are also looking to expand to more countries around the MENA region as soon as they master the business and have everything ready and in line.

I personally love how devoted and dedicated these ladies are to the brand (and community) they are building. You will notice from the names of the pieces, the styling tips and even their social media platforms. The service is really efficient and you will have your order within a maximum of two days.

Go check it out!

Trending Shoes Obsession - Sophia Webster

My Dearest Beauties,

I love watching E!, the tv channel. They have a fun show called The Fashion Police, I love the fashion but I really enjoy watching the show because of how funny Joan Rivers is. Anyway, I had spotted these shoes on some celebrities, among them Rihanna and I thought they are the coolest pair of shoes I've spotted recently. On one of the episodes they talked a bit about them and right there and then I cleared my doubts.

They are candy colored and have a fun stylish design that seems like it would be comfortable to walk in. The pair is actually called the Riri Leather Sandal.

If you live in Lebanon and would like to get your hands on these babies or any other Sophia Webster design then head over to the Plum store in Down Town.

What are your thoughts on these shoes? Tell me in the comments!

Much love,

Samar

The Coat Uniform for Winter 2014 - Checked/Checkered Coats

My Dearest Beauties,

I wanted to share this new trend that I am kind of obsessing on with you. Checked coats are so in and so chic in my opinion. I have been doing some online shopping but haven't actually bought the piece yet. They can easily transform a very simple and rather mundane outfit. For that reason I thought I would put some interesting pieces together and let you make up your mind on the fun checkered trend.

Make sure to press on the captions below every picture if you want to know more about the coat.

Asos Checked Coat
Asos Brushed Check Coat
Zara Checked Coat

Zara Checked Coat

Topshop Panel Check Coat

Burberry Brit Checked Coat

Bimba y Lola Coat

Checkered pieces are in whether they are coats, pants, tops, skirts, scarfs, you name it! I think that a checkered coat is a fun and easy way to update your wardrobe and make it fun. What are your thoughts on this trend? YAY or NAY?

My Top 10 Favorite Looks from Elie Saab's Spring 2014 Fashion Show

My Dearest Beauties,

Elie Saab called it "A Lace Garden" and I think it was the most perfect description. The collection was all about natural flower colors translated in beautiful and on point lace. Even the black pieces which evidently don't take part in a garden looked like they blended perfectly with the femininity and prominent delicateness of the whole collection.

I will let my favorite looks speak for themselves, because in my opinion the looks are more eloquent speakers of their own beauty. The looks are all in order of appearance and were retrieved from Style.com.

What are your thoughts on Elie Saab's work?

Blumarine Spring 2014 Ready-to-Wear (Tiny Obsession)

My Dearest Beauties,

I fell in love with this Blumarine's collection. Outfits made of white and lace which are at once so romantic, feminine and "coquette". They just look good on everyone, and everyone can pull them off. Why? Because every girl has a dark side and a sweet doll side.

The collection is sleek and sensual in the most subtle and vigorous way. Sheer fabrics, stone embroidery and lace celebrate your delicacy and femininity and just look beautiful! Just like a romantic summer love can end up being an exuberant adventure; that is how the collection was displayed. It starts off with the innocent and sweet ways of using sheer fabrics and lace; and wraps up with the fierce and OTT ways. The streets are the scene, filled with summer coming to an end, and you're the lead role. You just met your summer love in the coffee shop again, and you're just walking back home wearing white lace. Blumarine makes you the heroine of this scene.

The collection is not receiving the best reviews from high fashion style mags but I think that Blumarine's Anna Molinari delivered the romance she promised and then gave it a twist, the twist that may just make the collection fit several fashion palettes.

What do you think of this collection? Is it a yay or a nay for you?

Much love,

Samar
